Our Story
Lori Desjardine and Laurent Pinci founded
Pillars of Wellness in 2018. Having worked within a variety of healthcare settings and observing the strengths and weaknesses within our various medical and rehabilitation disciplines, they were inspired to create a clinic model that addresses noticeable gaps and limitations in healthcare services.
Although the healthcare system utilizes the services of numerous highly-skilled professionals; access to care, efficiency of care, cost, and overall quality of care remain areas that can be improved. It has become apparent that collaboration and communication amongst various disciplines has become inefficient or disjointed and the unfortunate result of this has been an increase in assessment and treatment redundancy. Unfortunately these redundancies can lead to delays in recovery or poorer outcomes.
Our vision at Pillars of Wellness is to provide services which fully embody collaboration and partnership amongst professionals, and to serve as a primary center for the maintenance and promotion of health.
At Pillars of Wellness, we are determined to change this old practice and revolutionize the way we diagnose, treat, rehabilitate, and promote health for our clients.
