Concussion Treatment
Concussion treatment begins with the proper diagnosis from a concussion specialist. At Pillars of Wellness, our physiotherapists and occupational therapists are certified and trained to treat concussions or brain injuries. They can also conduct a cognitive health assessment.
The cognitive health assessment is very important to do as it will help identify which area of your cognitive functions are deficit. Then, the rehabilitation process can start based on the findings and the symptoms.
A concussion treatment will include cognitive testing, balance exercises, visual exercises, and physical reintegration, as well as treating the cervical (neck).
